IFIC Bank is going to launch its Mobile Banking operations where energetic and dynamic senior professionals are needed to lead and direct to setup a new milestone for the Bank. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an appropriate technical structure that supports the need of the team Liable on any scientific and technological issues of the Mobile Banking Unit of the Bank Be the primary representative of monitoring, assessing and developing new technologies of mobile Banking products and deployment of the technology that can lead to the competitive advantage of the company. Provide reliable technical vision to complement the business vision, assessments of potential systems/products and future plans to the management identifying the role that specific technologies will play in its future growth. Identify technology trends and social behavior that may support or impede the success of the mobile banking services in Bangladesh. Participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization’s resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of software development, networking and telecommunications. Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT systems related to mobile banking across the organization Establish the operating procedures Act as an advocate for the organization’s IT vision via regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads and end users Identify opportunities for the appropriate and cost-effective investment of financial resources in IT systems and resources, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development Assess and communicate risks associated with technical investments Develop, track and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define systems requirements for new technology implementations in the context of mobile banking Ensure mobile banking system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements Job Nature Full-time Educational Requirements Computer Science graduate from a reputed institution Experience Requirements Minimum 7 year(s) Additional Job Requirements Minimum 7 years experience including 2 years in the related field Should understand technology and recognize profitable applications to products, services and processes. Ability to make the transition from technical expertise to business strategies Having up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software developments.
